The Russell County E911 Dispatch center is under the direction of the Sheriff’s Office. The center answers all wire line and wireless 911 emergency calls for the county. They also dispatch Sheriff’s Office, Town of Lebanon, and Town of Honaker calls. Dispatch receives over 12,760 administrative and emergency calls a month. They dispatch rescue, fire, police and other agency depending on the need. Our Dispatcher center is staffed 24 hrs a day 365 days a year. Our center has a great staff of dispatchers who have been trained in VCIN/NCIC, Basic Dispatch, EMD, and CPR. The center uses a CAD system to help keep track of calls and Geocomm mapping system to help keeping track and finding location of the calls. |
